Join Cater Care Australia as a Full-Time Chef Manager at Semaphore Park!
Are you passionate about creating memorable dining experiences? Do you take pride in leading a well-run kitchen? We’re looking for a dedicated Chef Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at our aged care residence in Semaphore Park.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your culinary expertise to life by crafting delicious, nutritious meals that delight our residents. If you’re committed to excellence in both food quality and kitchen management, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Roster:
Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm
What This Role Involves:
- Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
- Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
- Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Assisting the broader team as required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Must have experience managing large teams of up to 25 staff members
- Experience in rostering, which involves creating staff schedules, managing shift coverage, handling leave requests, and ensuring all shifts are efficiently covered.
- Budget management
- Knowledge on IDDSI standards
- Aged care knowledge prefered but not essential
- Police Check
- NDIS
- Flu Vaccination
