Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional to a Part time Chef position at our aged care residence in Bateau Bay, NSW.

Preparing delicious meals for our grateful residents; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day! 

Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.

Roster:  Saturday and Sunday - 9 to 17:30 upto 16 hours  Saturday rate $37.79, Sunday rate $45.35

What This Role Involves:

  • Preparing and presenting food for our residents
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
  • Preparing and presenting texture modified foods

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience in kitchens and food preparation
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
  • Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)
