Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef with cooking qualifications at our education site in Mc Mahons Point, NSW.

Preparing delicious meals for our grateful students; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day! 

Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.

Roster: Monday to Friday 11:00am - 7:30pm - upto 40 hours

What This Role Involves:

  • Preparing and presenting food for our students
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience in kitchens and food preparation
  • Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience in school catering (desirable)
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is an advantage
