The Role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant/Cold Larder at one of our key aged care residences in Northaven
Roster: Various days and hours 21 hrs
What This Role Involves:
- supervisor role.
- cooking and serving the evening meals
- making salads and sandwiches
- assisting the chef with crumbing ,
- cleaning soup vegetable prep cooking rice, mash potato and pasta.
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
- Prepare and present texture modified foods
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
