Being an Operations Manager in Aged Care & Education offers you a real way to make a difference whilst thriving in an amazing industry. Serving these sectors requires a passion for great food and fantastic service as well as extensive travel as you visit our sites located in some of the country’s most iconic areas from Ballina to Townsville (of course accommodation is provided).

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee the smooth running of our catering operations across multiple sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, managing teams, sustaining exceptional client relationships, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations, all while driving operational efficiency and growth.
What does a day in the life of an Operations Manager at Cater Care look like?
Overseeing the catering operations across multiple Aged Care and Education sites
Assist your operational teams to deliver high quality events and functions
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders
Ensure compliance to the food safety program
Managing budgets and resources effectively to optimise operational costs
Ensuring high levels of compliance across compliance within health & safety and adherence to a food safety legislation
Leading a diverse team to perform at their best
Desired Skills and Experience

Ability to work independently, and as a team member
Ability to lead, encourage and drive a supportive culture
A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service and great food
A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Ability to obtain a current Police clearance and Working with Children Blue Card.
