Job Description
The Role:
Gather by Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic chef to join our team at one of our key sites: Walford School, a prestigious all-girls independent school in Adelaide known for its academic excellence and supportive environment.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 10:30AM - 7:00PM + Saturday, 10:30AM - 7:00PM (to be accrued)
Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting food for our students
Support bulk cooking operations
Provide excellent customer service
Perform general kitchen duties, including dishwashing
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Background:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to work independently
Punctuality & reliability
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
