Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic chef at one of our key aged care sites in Wanneroo, Western Australia.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & presenting food for our residents
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices
  • Support bulk cooking operations
  • Deliver meals via tray service as required
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform general kitchen duties, including dishwashing
  • Prepare and serve texture-modified foods according to dietary requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

Your Background:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate 
  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
  • A valid Driver’s Licence and access to their own vehicle
