We’re looking for a skilled and independent Chef to join our team at a respected agricultural high school. With a full-time weekday roster and no weekend work, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who values consistency, autonomy, and making a positive impact to their customers.
Monday to Thursday 11am to 7pm, Friday 10:30am to 7pm
Full-time role, 38 hrs/week
No weekends, Day shifts only
Education setting, school holiday down time
Optional Aged Care Work During School Holidays

The Role:
Gather by Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic chef at one of our key sites within a prestigious college in Glenfield
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve bulk meals for students and staff
Maintain high food quality, safety, and hygiene standards
Manage kitchen operations independently
Deliver friendly customer service in a school setting
Support a clean, compliant, and efficient kitchen
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Background:
Trade-qualified chef certification (essential)
Strong cooking skills and food safety knowledge
Experience in education or institutional catering (advantageous)
Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellence
NSW Food Safety Certificate

A valid National Police Check
2024 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
