Catering Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Sans Souci. This is a part-time role offering a total of 22 hours per week across both morning and evening shifts.
You'll be assisting with food preparation, service, cleaning, and general kitchen duties in a supportive and well-structured aged care environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent hours spread across weekdays and Saturdays, with a mix of daytime and late afternoon shifts.
Roster:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday – 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesday – 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Wednesday – 7:00am to 1:30pm

Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Sans Souci
What This Role Involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
