Catering Assistant
About the opportunity
This part-time role is based at Shore School and involves the packing and delivery of food items across campus and event areas. You’ll be responsible for ensuring lunch orders, buffets, requisitions and function setups are delivered on time and to standard. Outside of delivery duties, you’ll form part of the core kitchen team, assisting with general cleaning, dishwashing, pot wash, and basic food preparation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, routine, and working within a team-focused environment.

25 hours per week
Work during school terms only
Early finishes with no weekend work

Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care Gather seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites in North Sydney
What this role involves
1. Packing and delivering lunch orders and buffet items
2. Managing client requisitions and assisting with function setup and packdown
3. Driving between designated areas on campus (must hold valid licence)
4. Assisting with dishwashing, pot wash, and general cleaning duties
5. Supporting food preparation and kitchen service
6. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
