The role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an organised Sous Chef for our kitchen operations at Ballarat.
Being a Sous Chef in Cater Care offers you a real way to make a difference whilst remaining in an industry you enjoy. Serving education requires a passion for creating great food, with the emphasis on ensuring meals are balanced to support the unique health and nutritional needs of our visitors.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

What this role involves:
- Food preparation and presentation of all meals served including Residential Halls, Cafes and Event Catering
- Support bulk cooking operations
- Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
- Adherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practices
- Fast effective service provided with a smile
To get a start you"ll need:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Functions and events experience (highly regarded)
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
