The role:
Cater Care is looking for enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistants to join our team at one of our valued aged care residences in Pittsworth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating enjoyable dining experiences for residents while supporting a friendly, collaborative kitchen environment.
Roster: Various days and hours
What this role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Prepare and present texture modified foods
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
