About The Role
Join Cater Care in beautiful Byron Bay as our next Chef! In this hands-on role, your cooking will bring comfort, connection and joy to our aged-care residents. You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive team that values great food, teamwork and genuine care.
Roster: Mon, Tue, Sat & Sun | 10:30am - 6:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing
Create and present fresh, delicious meals for residents and staff
Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
Deliver friendly, efficient service with a smile
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
Follow food and general safety practices
Prepare and present texture-modified foods with care and precision
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for great food
