Position: Chef Job Type: Permanent Part-Time (Mon & Fri 9:30am–6pm | Sat & Sun 10am–6pm) Pay: $33.00/hr Base + Strong Weekend Penalty Rates Location: Albion Park Rail, NSW
Most Chef roles are a trade-off: you get the career, but you lose your life to the midnight "hospo grind." At Albion Park Rail, we’ve deleted the 11 PM finishes and the split shifts.
We are looking for a culinary professional who wants to cook high-quality food, earn serious money, and actually be home before the streetlights come on.

What You’ll Do
Prepare and plate nutritious, high-standard meals that are the highlight of our residents' day.
Expertly manage specialized dietary requirements, ensuring every meal is safe, inclusive, and delicious.
Lead the kitchen service with professional autonomy, maintaining a calm and focused environment.
Uphold gold-standard food safety, hygiene, and HACCP documentation without the short-order chaos.
Collaborate with a team that views food as a vital form of care and community connection.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
Extensive experience in high-volume environments like catering, hotels, or healthcare is essential.
Solid knowledge of food safety protocols and professional kitchen compliance is required.
Professional pride in food presentation and a commitment to high-quality flavor profiles.
A self-motivated work ethic and the ability to run a service independently.
Genuine compassion and respect for the elderly residents within our care community.
