About The Role
Join Cater Care as a Part-Time/Casual Catering Assistant at our aged care site in Willagee.
You’ll play a key role in assisting the kitchen team with meal prep and service, contributing to a positive dining experience for residents. This role offers flexibility, making it ideal for those seeking casual or part-time work in a friendly and supportive team.
Salary: $25.85 base rate + casual loading and penalty rates
Roster: Flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends
What This Role Involves
Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
