What You’ll Do
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and food production
Prepare and present high-quality, diverse menus tailored to the university community
Mentor and lead junior kitchen staff to maintain exceptional service standards
Manage stock control, inventory, and wastage to ensure financial efficiency
Maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and OHS standards at all times
Collaborate on seasonal menu planning and special campus events
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Relevant trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery
Proven experience in a high-volume catering or restaurant environment
Strong leadership abilities and a "can-do" attitude
Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory for this position
Reliability and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workspace
