What You’ll Do
- Manage and inspire a small, dedicated kitchen team to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee all food preparation, ensuring every meal is nutritious, delicious, and beautifully presented.
- Take ownership of ordering, stock control, and rostering to keep the kitchen running like clockwork.
- Maintain gold-standard HACCP and food safety compliance to ensure resident wellbeing.
- Engage with residents to tailor menus that reflect their tastes and dietary requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
- Trade qualifications (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery) are essential.
- Extensive experience in a senior kitchen management or leadership role is required.
- Solid understanding of food safety (HACCP), budgeting, and inventory management is vital.
- Outstanding communication skills and a genuine interest in working within the Aged Care sector are key.
- Current National Police Check and required vaccinations (or willingness to obtain them) are mandatory.
