About the role:
Cater Care is seeking a motivated Casual Chef for our Tallebudgera education site. In this role, you’ll prepare and cook bulk meals for events and formal dinners, helping create memorable dining experiences. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and flexibility to work some weekends and early evenings.
You’ll take pride in delivering high-quality meals with great presentation, helping make every dining experience memorable.
Roster: Various days & hours
Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting food for our students and staff
Support bulk cooking operations
Provide excellent customer service
Maintaining a clean working environment
Adherence to food & general safety practices
Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
Your background:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role (education experience a bonus)
Bulk cooking experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
