About the role:
Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Chef for our high-end kitchen at the Windsor site. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you’ll prepare and present meals that delight and nourish our clients, assist with bulk cooking and tray service, and maintain strict food safety standards. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about cooking, teamwork, and making a difference in the community.
Roster:
Wed: 10:30am - 7:00pm
Thu-Sun: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Key responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present meals for our clients
Support bulk cooking and tray service delivery
Provide exceptional customer service
Perform general kitchen duties as required
Adherence to food & general safety practices
Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Previous experience in a similar role
Positive attitude and passion for quality food
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
