Gather by Cater Care is on the lookout for a passionate Chef to join our team at an education site in Gatton, QLD.
In this hands-on role, you’ll prepare and cook meals in bulk for a variety of events and formal dinners, catering for up to 420 students. You’ll deliver food that looks great and tastes even better, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a punctual, organised approach as a reliable team player.

Roster:
Thurs: 10:30am - 7:00pm
Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Responsibilities:
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for students and staff
Support high-volume, bulk cooking operations
Deliver friendly and professional customer service
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
Follow food safety and workplace safety standards
Provide fast, efficient service with a positive, can-do attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
Your background:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role (education experience a plus)
Bulk cooking experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
