Position: Chef – Education

Job Type: Casual

Location: Wahroonga, NSW

Shift Times: Saturday & Sunday, 10:00am to 6:30pm

Step away from the grueling late-night and weekday grind of traditional hospitality and into a role that respects your craft and your clock. We are looking for a culinary pro who thrives in a fast-paced campus environment, turning bulk ingredients into high-quality dining experiences. If you are a self-starter who loves the hum of a busy kitchen and the reward of fueling the next generation, this is your next move. Join our team and bring your passion for fresh food to a prestigious local setting where no two days are exactly the same.

What's In It For You

  • Take control of your life with a consistent weekend roster (Sat & Sun 10:00–18:30) that leaves your weeknights and weekdays free.
  • Work in a high-end educational environment with professional-grade equipment and premium ingredients.
  • Experience a respectful workplace culture that prioritizes safety, inclusion, and team support.
  • Benefit from the stability of a leading Australian-owned company with a massive national footprint.

What You'll Do

  • Take the lead on bulk cooking and food preparation, ensuring every plate meets our high standards.
  • Manage your kitchen station with total independence, showing off your speed and organizational skills.
  • Keep your workspace gold-standard by strictly following food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Interact with students and staff with a smile, providing top-tier service that brightens their day.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade Certification and a current Food Safety Supervisor license are essential.
  • A valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for this school-based role.
  • Proven experience in large-scale catering or bulk cooking is highly regarded.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced kitchen.
