What You'll Do

  • Take full ownership of the front-of-house service, ensuring every meal period runs with precision.
  • Act as the face of the dining hall, building positive relationships with students and academic staff.
  • Coordinate food preparation and tray service while maintaining an immaculate dining environment.
  • Lead by example across all areas, including kitchen support, dishwashing, and service area hygiene.
  • Uphold rigorous food safety standards and operational compliance throughout every shift.
  • Work autonomously to manage the workflow and solve problems on the floor in real-time.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor certification and a valid ACT Working with Children Check.
  • Bring significant experience in hospitality leadership with a focus on high-volume service.
  • Have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a premium dining atmosphere.
  • Possess the versatility to transition seamlessly between guest interaction and operational kitchen tasks.
  • Display excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
