About The Role
Join Gather by Cater Care as a Catering Assistant at Abergowrie College and become part of a supportive, high-energy team delivering great food and service every day.
We’re seeking a hands-on team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a friendly personality who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. In this role, you’ll be actively involved in meal prep, service, and maintaining a welcoming dining experience for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality customer service, always with a positive attitude
Assist with preparing and serving food, including meals and snacks
Ensure all dishes are washed and the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and safe
Maintain stock levels, replenishing items as required and following meal service
Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols
Desired Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in food preparation and/or customer service
Demonstrated ability to support kitchen operations and service delivery
Strong commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) and food safety standards
Reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
