About The Role
Cater Care is seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant to join the team at Alinea at Koh-I-Noor, our aged care facility in Wembley.
In this hands-on role, you will support the delivery of a positive dining experience for residents through food preparation, meal service, and general kitchen assistance.
What This Role Involves
Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
Serve meals and snacks with a high standard of customer service
Re-stock supplies, including after meal periods
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
Set tables, plate meals, and support the Chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
Contract catering experience (desirable)
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Strong presentation and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
