We’re seeking a reliable Cold Larder to join the kitchen team at PLC Boarding in Peppermint Grove. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff, preparing meals for up to 140 boarders.
On-site staff parking is available, with convenient public transport links nearby.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve cold larder items and assist with general food prep
Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff
Re-stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
Wash dishes and uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards
Deliver fast, effective service during busy periods with a positive attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous experience in cold larder preparation and service in a kitchen or hospitality setting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistent quality
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive attitude
High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
Experience in an education setting is desirable but not essential
