What You'll Do
Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents
Maintain impeccable food safety standards and kitchen hygiene in accordance with HACCP regulations
Collaborate with the catering team to ensure efficient service during the 10.30 to 18.30 shift
Manage stock control and minimize wastage while ensuring fresh, seasonal ingredients are prioritized
Foster a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere through positive engagement with residents and staff
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience as a Chef with a genuine interest in the aged care and retirement industry
Relevant culinary qualifications and a solid understanding of texture-modified diets and nutrition
Availability to work the set roster of Thursday through Sunday from 10.30 to 18.30
A reliable, community-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative and caring kitchen environment
Current National Police Clearance or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
