What You'll Do

  • Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the specific dietary needs of residents
  • Maintain impeccable food safety standards and kitchen hygiene in accordance with HACCP regulations
  • Collaborate with the catering team to ensure efficient service during the 10.30 to 18.30 shift
  • Manage stock control and minimize wastage while ensuring fresh, seasonal ingredients are prioritized
  • Foster a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere through positive engagement with residents and staff

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Proven experience as a Chef with a genuine interest in the aged care and retirement industry
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and a solid understanding of texture-modified diets and nutrition
  • Availability to work the set roster of Thursday through Sunday from 10.30 to 18.30
  • A reliable, community-minded professional who thrives in a collaborative and caring kitchen environment
  • Current National Police Clearance or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencement
