The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at our East Perth site. This hands-on role suits a chef with strong leadership capability and proven experience in high-volume bulk cooking within a structured environment.
You’ll oversee a small team, ensure consistency in meal delivery, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while supporting resident wellbeing.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a small kitchen team
Oversee high-volume bulk meal production, including texture modified foods
Plan and deliver seasonal menus aligned with resident needs and dietary requirements
Manage daily operations including budgeting, ordering, stock control, and rostering
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and food safety regulations
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and care teams
About You
Trade-qualified Chef
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certification
Proven experience in bulk cooking and texture modified meal production
Strong understanding of IDDSI standards and modified diets
Experience in aged care, healthcare, or similar settings (highly regarded)
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
