Position: Part-Time Location: Alinea Koh-I-Noor, Wembley WA Roster: Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 9:00am - 1:00pm Pay: $28.12/hr + Super
About The Role
Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Chef / Cold Larder to join our friendly kitchen team at a key aged care site in Wembley.
You’ll prepare fresh, high-quality meals and support the daily dining experience for residents, helping to deliver consistent and enjoyable food every day.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on food preparation, teamwork, and stable weekday hours with strong work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
Assemble salads, sandwiches, and cold dishes with consistency and care
Prepare texture-modified foods as required
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable, not essential)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality food presentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with good time management and reliability
Calm and efficient in a busy kitchen environment
