Position: Full-Time | 8-hour shifts | Some weekend work required

About The Role

Cater Care is seeking a passionate Chef to join our Gold Coast Precinct site. You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that nourish and delight our clients, while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role, ideal for a motivated chef who enjoys working in a dynamic environment supporting school camps, sporting groups, and children’s programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present quality meals for school camps, sporting groups, and clients. 
  • Support bulk meal production and daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional food service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen at all times
  • Follow strict food safety and workplace health standards
  • Complete general kitchen duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar chef role (catering experience desirable)
  • Experience with bulk cookery highly regarded
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a passion for delivering quality food experiences
