Location: Tallebudgera, QLD
Position: Casual | 20-30 hours per week | Monday-Sunday availability required (some weekends essential)

About The Role

Cater Care is seeking passionate Casual Chefs to join our Gold Coast Precinct site. You will prepare and present high-quality meals in a fast-paced, hands-on kitchen supporting school camps, sporting groups, and children’s programs.

This role involves bulk cookery, a strong focus on food safety, and working collaboratively within a supportive team to deliver consistent, high-quality catering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present quality meals for school camps, sporting groups, and clients. 
  • Support bulk meal production and daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional food service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen at all times
  • Follow strict food safety and workplace health standards
  • Complete general kitchen duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar chef or cook role (catering experience desirable)
  • Experience with bulk cookery highly regarded
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and passion for quality food service
