About The Role

Wanneroo, WA
$32 base rate/hour + weekend penalty rates + super
Weekend shift: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Chef for our Wanneroo aged care site. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the health and wellbeing of our residents by preparing high-quality, nutritious food.

You will work within a supportive team environment, preparing fresh meals for 65 residents throughout the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
  • Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver friendly and efficient service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Follow food safety and workplace health standards
  • Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and passion for creating great food
