About The Role
Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our aged care team at one of our sites in Ballina, NSW on a part-time basis.
This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and welcoming environment, helping deliver high-quality meal services that enhance the daily experience of our residents and staff.
In this role, you will assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional presentation at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
Assist with meal service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and customer service
Restock supplies before, during, and after service periods
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties
Set tables and assist with plating and meal distribution
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly regarded
Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
