Supporting Residents Through Quality Food and Care

Location: Beauaraba, Pittsworth
Roster: Full-Time | Wednesday - Sunday | 38 hours/week

We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our aged care residence in Beauaraba, preparing fresh, nutritious meals that support resident health and wellbeing.

This is a hands-on role in a structured kitchen where your cooking makes a real difference every day. You’ll be part of a supportive team focused on quality, consistency, and care.

About The Role

As our Chef, you will:

  • Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
  • Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
  • Deliver friendly and efficient service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Follow food safety and workplace health standards
  • Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention
  • Contribute to a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • A background in aged care, healthcare, or contract catering (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong time management and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for quality food and service
