Prepare nutritious, well-presented meals to consistently high standards
Prepare texture-modified meals and accommodate individual dietary requirements
Manage food preparation, bulk cooking and daily kitchen priorities efficiently
Create enjoyable dining experiences through quality food and respectful, attentive service
Uphold food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Experience in aged care catering, with an understanding of residents’ dietary needs and dining preferences
A recognised trade qualification in cookery
Confidence preparing texture-modified meals and catering to specialised dietary requirements
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a busy kitchen
A commitment to culinary quality, consistency, presentation and resident wellbeing
Willingness to meet site pre-employment requirements, including a National Police Check and flu vaccination
