The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Permanent Full-Time Chef Manager at our site in Semaphore Park.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster: Monday to Friday 9.00AM - 5.30PM
What This Role Involves:
- Preparing foods including texture-modified foods
- Ability to work independently performing various kitchen tasks
- Managing bulk cooking efficiently
- Delivering excellent customer service to enhance residents' dining experiences
- Assisting the broader team as required
- Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
- Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Must have experience managing large teams of up to 25 staff members
- Knowledge on IDDSI standards
- Experience in rostering & budget management (food & labour costs)
- Aged care knowledge preferred but not essential
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- RSA
- Possessing a valid driver's license and having access to a car (Preferred)
