Cater Care Australia is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Food Safety Assistant in Parramatta. If you are passionate about maintaining high food safety standards and are looking for a permanent, full-time position in the dynamic field of food safety, then this role is perfect for you.

Job Description

The role :

  • Performing site audits against our Food Safety Program and the Food Standards Code
  • Reporting audit findings to the business following our audit management system
  • Assisting with the implementation of the Food Safety Program for new sites
  • Identifying food safety compliance risks
  • Reviewing documents and Legislation required as a part of the duties
  • Maintaining the food safety audit schedule
  • Maintaining the Food Licence Register
  • Supporting our Food Safety Specialist as required

About you:

  • Experience working in the food or auditing industry; or both
  • An understanding of Food Safety Hazards
  • Exposure to HACCP, ISO and the Food Standards Code
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Programs
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to travel interstate and intrastate frequently including remote travel
  • A driver’s license and car are essential
  • Attention to detail & excellent communications skills are essential.
