Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional to a Permanent Full time Chef position at our aged care residence in Eight Mile Plains.
Preparing delicious meals for our grateful residents; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day!
Public transport accessible and onsite parking available.
Roster:
Wednesday to Sunday Roster with Varied hours
What This Role Involves:
Preparing and presenting food for our residents
Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
Maintaining a clean working environment
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
Preparing and presenting texture modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience in kitchens and food preparation
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantage)
Previous experience in aged care or catering (advantage)
