Job Description

Roster:  Saturday & Sunday 10am to 6:30pm - upto 16 hours

The Role: Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an engaging hospitality professional to a Permanent Part time Chef position at our aged care residence in Cromer. Preparing delicious meals for our grateful residents; this role is ideal for anyone who wants to make a real difference to those they serve each day! 

What This Role Involves:

  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Assist with stock ordering and stocktaking  
  • Merchandising and food presentation 
  • Maintain a clean kitchen, equipment and utensils
  • Adherence to legislated food hygiene and general safety practices
  • Assist the broader team as required
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Maintaining a clean working environment

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen (short order)
  • Bulk food preparation
  • Punctuality & reliability
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (advantage)
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices
  • NSW Food Safety Certificate
