Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Permanent part time Supervisor with leadership experience at our education site in North Sydney.

Roster: Monday - Friday 4pm - 8:30pm

What This Role Involves:

  • Management of cooking/food preparation experience
  • Cooking a variety of healthy & nutritious freshly made snacks and drinks
  • Taking orders, customer service and cash register operations
  • Monitoring and promoting kitchen hygiene & food safety practices
  • Monitoring food costs, ordering and stock replenishment
  • Managing and liaising with volunteers
  • Cleaning of kitchen areas and dish-washing

Desired Skills and Experience

What We Require From You:

  • Trade Certification in Commercial Cookery is highly desirable
  • Food Safety Certification (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience managing a school canteen or similar environment
  • Ability to work under high pressure situations and catering in large volumes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with students, parents and teachers
