The Opportunity:
Join Cater Care as a Chef at the University of Newcastle, Callaghan Campus. This is a unique opportunity to bring your culinary creativity to a calm, community-based environment – with built-in time to rest and recharge.
Part-time 4-day roster: Saturday to Tuesday Hours: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM Potential to transition to full-time Accessible location: Bus stop on University Drive Competitive hourly rates: $32–$52 depending on day

Job Description
Your Day-to-Day:
Prepare & present fresh, quality meals for students and staff
Support menu development with creativity & flair
Maintain clean, organised kitchen spaces
Stock ordering, rotation, merchandising & stocktaking
Deliver efficient service with a positive, professional attitude
Who We’re Looking For:
A qualified Chef with previous experience in a similar role
Someone who brings warmth, energy & reliability to the kitchen
A great communicator with strong time management
Holds a NSW Food Safety Certificate
Committed to food safety and kitchen hygiene
