Cater Care is looking for a sociable and proactive Human Resources Administration Assistant to join the team at the Brisbane office.

The ideal candidate is someone who loves customer service, works well as part of a team, and is happy to help other team HR team members when necessary.

Having previous experience in admin will be an advantage in familiarising yourself with the role as soon as possible.

The role will be part of our HR Shared Services Team which supports our business across Australia with approximately 2,800 employees.  The role will be full time, however, part time options will be considered if meeting our business requirements.

Job Description

What this role involves:

General administration support to the Human Resources Shared Services team including:

  • Onboarding compliance checks such as Police Checks, Flu Vaccinations & Working With Children Checks & Visa Checks
  • Completing tasks within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to progress candidates through onboarding stages
  • Answering general email enquiries and phone enquiries from employees and managers 
  • Assisting with letters for employees such as employment confirmations
  • Assisting with the preparation of employment contracts and checking employment contracts comply with award requirements
  • Assist with maintenance of the HRIS system

Desired Skills and Experience

What we desire from you:

  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong and clear communication abilities (verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload is a must
  • Reliable, punctual and work focused attitude
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Experience with Google Platform: Google Docs, Google Drive and Gmail and ELMO HRIS an advantage
  • Studies in the Human Resources field will be an advantage but not essential
  • A willingness to always try your best

The successful candidate will understand the need for a flexible approach to work when helping support a busy team, with high attention to detail and understand what it takes to go the extra mile. Training will be provided.
