Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care is seeking an engaging hospitality professional for a part-time Cold Larder position at our education site in Ballarat, Victoria.
Roster:Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals
Create and assemble salads, cold appetizers, and other cold dishes
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished items
Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to align cold dishes with overall menu plans
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards
Support the broader team as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Previous experience in kitchens, food preparation, and/or customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to delivering friendly, genuine customer service
Pride in personal appearance and hygiene
