Job Description
The Role:
Gather by Cater Care is looking for a full-time Chef/Cold Larder to join our team at Ballarat Grammar School in Wendouree, Victoria.
This is a great opportunity to work in a well-known school with a strong sense of community in a beautiful part of regional Victoria.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting food for our students
Support bulk cooking operations
Provide excellent customer service
Perform general kitchen duties, including dishwashing
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Assemble cold dishes such as salads, cold starters and other cold menu items
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Background:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar role
Punctuality & reliability
