Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care Australia is looking for a dedicated Chef Manager to join our team at a health centre site in Windsor, Queensland. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, making it perfect for someone highly organised who appreciates a smooth-running kitchen.
Roster:Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
What This Role Involves:
Managing food preparation, presentation, and on-site operations
Overseeing food and labor cost management
Ordering, rotating, and managing stock inventory
Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and safety standards
Leading, developing, and managing the team
Ongoing menu development & refinement
Support bulk cooking operations
Prepare and serve meals in adherence to specified dietary requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
Ability to work independently
Strong leadership and communication skills
Significant experience in the hospitality industry
A professional approach to personal appearance and hygiene
