Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care Australia is looking for a dedicated Chef Manager to join our team at a health centre site in Windsor, Queensland. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, making it perfect for someone highly organised who appreciates a smooth-running kitchen.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM 

What This Role Involves:

  • Managing food preparation, presentation, and on-site operations
  • Overseeing food and labor cost management
  • Ordering, rotating, and managing stock inventory
  • Ensuring adherence to food hygiene and safety standards
  • Leading, developing, and managing the team
  • Ongoing menu development & refinement
  • Support bulk cooking operations
  • Prepare and serve meals in adherence to specified dietary requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate 
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Significant experience in the hospitality industry
  • A professional approach to personal appearance and hygiene
