We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a Chef Manager to lead operations at a newly established aged care site in Moss Vale. If you’re ready to take ownership, build a kitchen culture from the ground up, and enjoy a work-life friendly weekday schedule, this is your role.
Monday to Friday only – 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
40 hours per week – no weekends, no late nights
New site – shape your own kitchen team and processes
Aged care setting – serve with care, not chaos
Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Moss Vale.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
Roster:
Monday to Friday
9am to 5.30pm
40hrs
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Ongoing Menu Development & Refinement
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Assisting the broader team as required
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
Strong communication skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
