Join our vibrant team in beautiful Byron Bay! 

We're seeking passionate chefs with a positive attitude and an enthusiasm for teamwork. At Cater Care, we value personality and genuine care. If you're an enthusiastic chef looking to make a difference in a supportive environment, this role at our key aged care site is for you.

Roster: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & presenting food for our residents
  • Stock ordering, rotation, merchandising & stocktaking
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Ongoing menu development & refinement
  • Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude
  • Prepare and serve texture-modified foods according to dietary requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

Your background:

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Punctuality & reliability
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
