Cater Care are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef Manager to assume leadership of the culinary team at one of our key aged care facilities in Hamilton, Victoria.
This is a significant opportunity for a highly organised, dedicated professional with a strong background in kitchen management to oversee daily operations and ensure the provision of exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Job Description
Roster:Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and manage all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and on-site kitchen operations
Control and optimise food and labor cost management
Procure, organise, and maintain stock inventory through effective ordering and rotation practices
Maintain strict adherence to all food hygiene and safety regulations
Lead, mentor, and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
Supervise and participate in bulk cooking operations
Prepare and serve texture-modified foods in accordance with individual dietary requirements while providing excellent customer service to the clients
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills and Experience:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent certification
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Demonstrated experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
Proven ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Extensive experience within the hospitality industry
A commitment to maintaining a professional approach to personal appearance and hygiene
