Cater Care Australia is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef Manager to oversee daily culinary operations at our aged care residence in Perth Central. This role is perfect for a professional who is committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our residents and maintaining a highly efficient kitchen environment.

Roster: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

What this role involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management
  • Managing overall costs, with a focus on food and labour
  • Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking
  • Leading, developing, and managing a team effectively
  • Assisting with bulk cooking operations
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs
  • Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver’s license and access to their own vehicle
