This full-time role is based at an aged care residence in Liverpool. You’ll be responsible for managing kitchen operations, preparing meals, and supervising a small team to ensure service runs smoothly. With a Monday to Friday roster and no late nights, this position is ideal for someone looking to lead while maintaining work-life balance.

Job Description
The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at our aged care residence in Liverpool
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our residents and values a well-run kitchen.
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
Overall cost management with a focus on food and labour costs
Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Assisting the broader team as required
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience with managing labour, food & operational costs
Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
Strong communication skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
