The role:

Cater Care is seeking to appoint a Front of House Supervisor for one of our key education sites in Gatton. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, experienced in training, and skilled at leading and motivating a team. Convenient on-site parking is available.

Job Description

Roster: Approximately 37 hours per week in University term time.

What this role involves:

  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Customer service - serving meals 
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff
  • Maintain high service standards and promptly address concerns
  • Ensure efficient food service and smooth daily operations
  • Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Proven experience in leading and supervising a team
  • Background in the hospitality industry, preferably within education or high-volume environments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, clients and staff
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene
